Christmas feels like it never happened, it’s cold and dreary outside and everyone dreads the alarm clock going off when it’s still pitch black behind the curtains! Well not at Foodies at Holyrood! The New Hot menu is off to a flying start, people are hearing about our baked potatoes and hot ciabattas’ and January seems to be our busiest month yet!
We have put another member of The Foodie Team on the rota over lunchtimes so the queue should move a lot quicker, which means you can get your delicious food a lot sooner! We would also like to introduce you all to our newest member of the team, Euan our new supervisor started with us on Monday! He loves his coffee, so if you are particular about yours, ask him to make it!
The winds of change are a blowin’! New Year: New office/ unit (with kitchen)… in the pipe line, café no 2… hopefully, our alcohol licence… definitely, outside catering… already started, more beautiful paintings on the walls… sorted and Foodie events… coming soon! Hopefully see you all in the café soon for a nice warming brew!

p.s. Sandwich of the month Thai prawn and rocket on granary! Its spicy enough to clear any nasal passage and has lots of lovely fresh lemon squeezed in to keep your vitamin C levels up!
