Burns Night Foodieboxes

Burns Night Foodieboxes

Ok, so it has been a wee while, I apologies to all of the regular visitors to the blog.

A lot has been happened since I last wrote an entry. Where to start!

December was spent furiously packing Foodiebox in our rather chilly industrial estate. So thank you to all of you who bought one to friends and/or family. We also started to send Foodieboxes all over Europe. It’s always good to know that people outside the UK are enjoying Scottish produce at Christmas. We has lots of enquires about sending parcels to USA and Canada. We are working on this and should have our certificates soon.

Pick your own seemed to be a fantastic hit for all you Foodies. Its always fascinating to see what combinations people put together and always helps us come up with the set Foodieboxes.

January saw the launch of the Burns Night Foodieboxes. We saw lots of these flying out the door. Especially to all the Scots in London! As you all probably know Burns Night also saw the launch of Scotland’s Homecoming. So once Burns Night has past the astute might see the Burns Night Foodieboxes seamlessly slip into Homecoming Foodieboxes.

The company had also been nominated for a collection of awards by BT and PSYBT. The awards are next Monday (21/01/08) in Glasgow so on with the suit.

The awards are – Best Website, Best e-Ecommerce Website, Most Green Business and the top award, Most Visionary Business. Fingers Crossed!!!
